The couple got engaged at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, in the presence of both their families. Radhika Merchant who is 28 years old is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant. The younger Ambani daughter-in-law has been seen at numerous Ambani family events previously. She attended both Akash Ambani’s wedding to Shloka Mehta and Isha Ambani’s wedding to Anand Piramal.
Mukesh Ambani gifted an exotic car to his younger son Anant Ambani on his engagement with Radhika. The family already owns a lot of luxury cars but this new addition to their collections is something special. The new member to join the clan is Bentley Continental GTC Speed. Notably, the car was seen without a security convoy and a special VIP registration number (MH 01 EH 1). The car is seen in a beautiful flaming orange shade and is a sports-focused convertible grand tourer. The Bentley GTC Speed was first spotted inside Antilla decorated with flowers a couple of months ago during the engagement party of Anant and Radhika.
The car comes powered by a 6.0-litre W12 engine that produces a maximum power of 659 PS and a peak torque of 900 Nm. It can do 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and is the most powerful Continental GTC ever built.
The luxury car comes with a convertible roof that can be operated while the vehicle is moving. Even at a speed of 50 km/h, the roof of the car can be retracted. It also comes with an electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD), which can vary the torque supplied to each of the rear wheels. One can accelerate out of the corners with much more control. The car also gets Apple CarPlay. There are signature Bentley features including a rotating display that rotates into analogue dials from the touchscreen. There is a 16-channel Bang & Olufsen system which can be upgraded to 20-channel Naim.
